Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MON PETIT CHOU CO. LIMITED (“MON PETIT CHOU”, “we”) handles personal data on monpetitchou.shop, in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”).

1. What we collect

• Identity and contact: full name, email, phone, and the invoice name used only for the invoice;
• Delivery: floor / unit, building name (if given), street, district and region in Hong Kong;
• Order notes and contact-form messages, including the subject you select;
• Browsing: pages viewed, time, device type and IP, collected automatically;
• Cart contents stored in your browser (localStorage key monpetitchouCart).

2. Why we use it

• To process orders, issue an invoice and talk about delivery;
• To confirm payment (FPS, card or bank transfer) and reduce fraud;
• To answer the contact form;
• To send product updates and promotional notices by email or SMS/RCS, only with your consent (you may reply STOP);
• To keep the site stable and secure.

3. PDPO data protection principles

We collect data for lawful retail purposes, keep it no longer than needed, take practicable steps to keep it accurate and secure, and use it in ways you would reasonably expect for a Hong Kong clothing shop. We do not sell personal data.

4. Sharing

We share the minimum needed with delivery partners, payment processors and, where the law requires, public authorities in Hong Kong. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing lists.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and localStorage to remember the cart and for basic site function. You can block cookies in the browser; some features may then fail. The cart key is monpetitchouCart on your device only.

6. Retention and security

We use HTTPS and restricted access. We keep data only for the purpose or for a period required by Hong Kong law (for example, invoice records for tax). When the purpose ends, we delete or anonymise what we can.

7. Your rights under the PDPO

You may request access to personal data we hold about you and correction of that data (PDPO, including the data access and correction provisions). Write to business@monpetitchou.shop or call +85224819053. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (PCPD).

8. Direct marketing

If you tick the promotional box on a form, we may send product and offer messages. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, using the contact form, or emailing the address above. Withdrawal does not affect an order already placed.
